According to the legal requirements, all charter yachts must be equipped with a Co2 / carbon monoxide alarm detector. Appropriate sensors are also installed in this ship. Unfortunately, the prescribed devices also affect when, for example, showering (water vapor) or during cooking on board.
In this case, we ask to check the situation thoroughly and to ventilate well in case of a false alarm! Alarm switches off independently and the device is ready for use again.
Dolphin 3 is equiped with following navigation instruments:

The electrical panel is located in the salon, to port. Switch on the required consumers here, such as water pumps, lighting such as top light and interior lighting or refrigerator.
The 220V fuse box is located in the salon, starboard, behind the seat back (Next to the refrigerator). The 12V fuses are located behind the main switch panel.
Bow thruster: fuses and switches are located under the bed in the master cabin.
Battery panel is located in the stern cabin, under the bed
Yacht Dolphin 3 has 1 electric toilet / wet room.
Please do not throw toilet paper, hygiene items or other solids into the toilets!!! This will lead to a blockage of the sewage system. Costs for rectification will be charged to the charterer, we ask for your understanding.
ATTENTION: The seawater valves must be open!
The black water tank is located above to the right of the toilet, the valve for emptying the black water tank is located below the black water tank, behind the panelling.
The valve for draining the sink and shower must be open, it is located under the floor panelling in the wet room.
Fresh water: Dolphin has 2 fresh water tanks with 180 litres each. The filler opening is located starboard and port and is labelled “Water”. The key to open the water tanks is located in the navigation table. If one tank is empty, you have to switch to the other tank. The valve for switching is located in the saloon, starboard, under the seat.
Seawater can be manually pumped into the sink for pre-rinsing. The foot pump is located below the sink. The valve must be open, it is located under the floor panel.
To empty rinse water, the valve / drain must be open. It is located in the saloon, starboard, under the seat.
The gas connection for the stove/oven is in the galley. The valve should be closed while sailing and only opened when using the cooker.
Dolhin 3 has a Yanmar engine with 21.3 kW. The engine is located below the companionway / steps. The stairs can be folded up for access to the engine.
Before handover, the service team checked the oil and fluid levels, no further preparations are necessary here.
The fuel filler neck is located on the starboard side at the stern. Please fill with DIESEL only!
The yacht can be supplied with shore power. The connection is located at the stern, starboard inside.
BOW THRUSTER: can only be used when engine is running. For more information please check video (2) below.

Electric windlass: the main switch must be in the ON position. It is located in the stern cabin under the sleeping area.
The anchor is lowered and raised electrically via the remote control. The remote control is located in the front of the anchor locker. Engine must be running when using electrical anchor winch!
Dolphin 3 has a Highfield dinghy with a 20 hp Honda engine. The dinghy should always be lowered and raised via the winch. Before starting the engine, please watch the video. Fuel tap must be opened, emergency stop (red spiral cable) must be inserted.
When lowering the dinghy, make sure that the water outlet at the stern is closed!
If water enters the bilge, it can be pumped out manually. The hand pump is operated via the handle. The handle is located in the aft port locker on portside
To start the electric bilge pump, the pump must be switched on at the control panel by pressing the symbol (symbol lights up). The pump will pump out automatically when needed. By pressing the switch twice, the bilge pump pumps out constantly.
